After working for over three decades with Alpine and four decades in the component manufacturing industry, Michael Martz has announced his retirement at the end of the year, December 31, 2020.
As a true professional, Mike represented Alpine with the upmost character and skill. He established unbelievable relationships with fellow employees, customers, prospects and competitors that will extend into retirement. Mike’s journey started with Truswal Systems in the Engineering department before joining Alpine Engineered Products. Mike quickly moved to a sales leadership role supporting the upper Midwest and has been a cornerstone for Alpine for many years. “I will truly miss the friends I have made at Alpine and in the Component Industry. I have been blessed by the people I have come to know and, in many cases, call many of you friends. As I move into the next chapter of my life, I will think about all of you and smile. It’s been an amazing run and career – thank you! I wish you and your families all the best in the future.” stated, Mike Martz.
As evidence of a fantastic career, Mike was awarded the 2016 Dick Bowman Industry Enthusiast Award from SBCA. It’s cliché to state, but Mike truly embodies the spirit of the award as he represents the industry with enthusiasm and integrity.
“Mike exemplifies the characteristics that make this industry what it is today. For over forty years, Mike has brought passion and commitment to work every day. Mike has certainly left his mark on this company and this great industry with strong bonds with customers, teammates, and all involved with structural components. We appreciate all that he has done for Alpine and his presence and expertise will be missed.” said Kevin Kraft, Vice President and General Manager of Alpine.
We congratulate Mike on a great career and wish him the very best in retirement.
